Well I said this cartoon would be out by Friday, and I be damned if I did not follow through on that statement. I mean especially after saying I would one day get “Sonic Roboto” done. I guess this is kind of me making up for that.
This cartoon is for my school’s film festival which will take place this month, no one else in the class was doing animation, because I don’t think anyone even knows how to. And lucky me, people assume that “oh sure he will make something” which I rather not have something I made shown to over five hundred people at once while I am there at the same time, but oh well make the best of it. I animated all of this in seven days, seven long as hell days. The criteria had to be met, and part of it was that it had to be near the ten minute mark. So a lot of things have been taken out of this toon and a lot of things had to be cut short, as to whether or not I will post those deleted scenes is another story. Most of the cut stuff was not all that great, which is another reason why it was cut. Such as an Alien movie skit, which was just a waste of time.
And just to get a few things out of the way, don’t give me crap if you don’t like the way I draw some of the characters in the cartoon like way I do, I got some crap from people about it at school. And no, no I did not draw the poster images, most of them were from Google and have been properly credited, and the others were image edits from a friend of mine, Tony. He also made the music for this cartoon so I alone have the right to use it, so don’t send emails asking for the songs. And as for the ten second clip from the Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark soundtrack and the Queen song, a ten second use of any song is legal, trust me we all go through this crud in Media.
Seeing as this is going to be shown on the schools announcements, and in the festival, if there is decent feedback I am going to continue this storyline, except in a show format which will be titled Project “Gamers”.
As for the Sonic Shenanigans shorts I have been working on, they will be part of Gamers if all goes to plan.
All the credits have been stated in the toon so I see no real need to restate them in here.
