Silver the Hedgehog

Well it’s been awhile since I last posted art, so I figured to really go all out on this one.
The picture is of the newest character added to the Sega lot, and goes by the name of Silver. Though I do not share much like for his bland of a name I do find his design to be interesting, breaking away from the basic hedgehog spike pattern. As well as he has telekinetic powers, so I wanted to include that in the picture, as you can see he is charging up for an attack. I was going to originally draw the new robots from the new Sonic game surrounding him, but I am not all that fond of drawing robots so it did not turn out so well in that department, so I just stuck with Silver. I tried a new way of drawing and coloring my pictures, which it does take awhile but in the end worth it.
This first started out as a drawing on normal paper, I did not ink it, and then scanned it and re drew it all in Flash, then took that line art into Photoshop and colored it.
As you can see I also changed my signature into something a bit simpler, but also added a little tag at the bottom.

*EDIT* Went back and fixed a few things I thought looked wrong, touchups, that’s about it.
