Hey everyone, it’s been some time hasn’t it? Well it’s pretty easy to say I do miss uploading on here as much as I use to; and it’s not because I am not drawing at all, trust me that’s not the case. I just never seem to get around to wanting to post on here and I think I have discovered the reason as to why that is. You see for a long time I have been a fan of a certain videogame character, and I think we all know who that certain blue hedgehog is. However personally, when I look back on how much I was in to the fan base I see now that it truly put a dent on my creativity both in drawings and ideas.

I hate to say it but the whole Sonic community is pretty much run by ether extremists who are stuck up and believe to be right about everything, or by people who are way to sucked into a certain character and piss n’ moan about when someone says something they don’t like. I can prove this, as the most commented deviant post I ever made was on my old account, which was a comparison to Sega Sonic and Sonic X’s Sonic, and it still gets comments to this day. And whenever I log on and see this, it just plain drains me. I am tired of Sonic, tired of drawing Sonic tired of everything Sonic. Whenever I try and do something original it ends up failing because all people see me for is a Sonic artist. So, it has lead me to this;

I was given an opportunity to be a part of the sequel to “The Sonic Collab” and it’s a project I am going to see through till the end and I promise it will be something to see. I have used everything I have learned so far at the Art Institute and have put both my best 2D and 3D animating techniques. However this will be the very last time I make anything major to do with Sonic. I have seen the Sonic community come to shambles and I simply just don’t want anything to do with it anymore. Now that I am in school it is time for me to explore my own ideas and creations, it’s time for me to grow up from being a simple fan.

I will soon be posting some of my 3D and 2D creations that I have made thus far in school, and I hope you enjoy them. Thank you
